Sacred Gifts by Rev. Kirk S. Thomas
Unlike the Abrahamic faiths, ancient Indo-European religion was based on reciprocity - do ut des, I give so that you may give. This workshop will examine the concept of reciprocity as well as the evidence for reciprocal relationships between the Gods and the people in ancient writings from Ireland to India and many places in between. We will also explore how these ancient practices may apply to us in the modern day as we re-imagine and recreate our Paganisms today.

4:00 pm Thorbjorg's Charm Bag: the Tools of a Spa-kona by Rowen
The "Greenland Seeress", a woman called Thorbjorg, appears briefly in Eirik's Saga; she had been sent for by a prominent landholder to determine how long a bad winter & food shortage will last.  The description of her clothing, accessories, practices, etc., pretty much forms the basis of the current attempts at the revival of Seidhr practice.  What I would like to focus on is her clothing, equipment, and "charm bag" and its contents.

We are all touched by the loss of a loved one at some point in our lives.  This talk is designed to give folk and understanding of the stages of grief and loss, what grief work is, and  some tools to help them deal with the pain and sadness that comes with the loss of a loved one in ways that are particular to neo-pagans.

4:00 pm "The Celtic Bardic Tradition, or Awen, Imbas, and All That" by ADF Master Bard G. R. (Gwernin) Grove
